Overview

Assort is designed to collect as little information as possible. Gameplay progress and settings are stored locally by the app unless you choose to use an optional account or sync feature. Depending on your device and backup settings, the operating system may also include this local data in a device or cloud backup.

Information We Collect

• Gameplay progress, settings, rewards, and statistics stored locally on your device and potentially included in backups managed by your operating system or backup provider.
• Gameplay events sent to our private event recorder, including level activity, active playtime, moves, stars, app version, platform, timestamps, and a random session ID for each app launch.
• If account sign-in or cloud sync is enabled, basic account information from the sign-in provider, such as an identifier, display name, and email address.
• Support messages you choose to send to us, including the contact information and issue details you provide.

How We Use Information

• To save progress, remember settings, and provide core game functionality.
• To understand gameplay and improve Assort.
• To respond to support and privacy requests.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app.

Advertising and Sale of Data

Assort does not sell personal information. Assort does not use third-party advertising networks in the app.

Private Event Recording and Storage

We use our own private event recorder to understand and improve gameplay. Events include game opens, level starts and endings, active playtime, level details, moves, stars, app version, platform, and event timestamps. A random session ID groups events from the same app launch; a new ID is generated whenever the app starts, and it is not saved between launches. Gameplay events do not include names, email addresses, user, device, or advertising identifiers. We do not use analytics cookies or track people across websites.

We do not use third parties to track information about you. We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) as our storage provider. AWS stores data on our behalf and is not authorized to read it or use it for its own purposes.

Children's Privacy

Assort is suitable for a general audience and does not include chat, public profiles, or user-generated content. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Data Retention

Local gameplay data remains on your device until you reset app data or uninstall the app. Copies included in an operating-system or cloud backup may remain until that backup expires or you remove it using the controls provided by your device or backup provider. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and maintain business records.

Gameplay events are stored in our private event recorder. Resetting or uninstalling the app does not delete events already recorded. The session ID is not saved on your device between launches, but remains attached to stored events. Contact us for information about event retention or to request deletion.
